Evaluate my Evans Cooper trade

Postby Nimrod » Thu Aug 29, 2019 6:15 pm

Just traded Mike Evans and Julian Edelman for Amari Cooper, 2.11, 2020 1st (projected late), and 2021 2nd.

What do you think? This is my contract league in Sig. EDIT TEAM 2

I would have held onto Evans here. Hopefully the 1st ends up closer to a mid 1st in 2020. If Cooper could find consistency, this will get closer.

I like the Evans side, but you got Cooper and 1st so it’s not terrible. I also don’t understand the salary ramifications.

salary ramfications are specifc enough to our league its hard to explain values without writing a book. I am looking more for just the feedback of my roster and player finishes.

I don’t like it without factoring in contracts
Edelman>2.11
Evans>cooper+first+2020 2nd

I think this is a very balanced trade to be honest. I think you had extreme depth at the WR position and utilized that depth to invest in your future. Your team is going to be weaker this year, but unlike many here I believe in Cooper. I think he's primed to surprise a lot of people this season. I think this trade could turn into a win for you long term.
