However, depending on the timing of the trigger, Rotoworld is reporting Thompson just passed Hyde, making him the RB2 in KC. Thompson will probably have some small but consistent fantasy relevance this year, but long-term, definitely Campbell.

I’m stoned, and never was a Paris fan. So maybe that’s why I’m with you when I look at that and say “screw it, why not?” As long as you know you’re losing a little current value, I wouldn’t have a problem with it if you are a Thompson fan. Values change.

I'd say it comes down to the format of the league and the team makeup for both players. Thompson should have a more productive season than Campbell and may have more value at the end of the season, whereas I'd say Campbell has more long term value.

It's not crazy. Especially with the Luck news. There is a good chance these rookie rankings that we all look at will be much much different in year or 2. If you are a Darwin fan then do it. At least his value is trending up.

I wouldn’t call it crazy, depends on team make up for me, if you need a flier at RB I say do it, but with this Luck news I think the owner might hang on and hope for a Top QB to go to the Colts next year.

My thing is Parris is a better player, but Thompson has a better chance of beating out Williams than Brissett has of making Parris fantasy relevant. So, if you’re making the move for immediate value, it’s probably Thompson, but long term, I expect Parris to have the better career.
