Hopkins trade - advice

Potentially looking to deal Hopkins for team 1 in my sig. I consider my team a favorite to seed high/potentially contend so I'm not pressured to make a deal but if I can trade him at the premium he is and gain a nice haul in return, then I'm for it. Anyways, the owner I'm looking to deal to has some pieces I like to add to my team in t his trade.

His key pieces:
AB, Devonta Freeman, Fournette, Melvin Gordon, Derrick Henry, Ertz and a 2020 1st from a team that is in a total rebuild

I originally offered:
Hopkins and my 2020 2nd
for
AB, Freeman and Henry but got declined

Awaiting his counter as he said he would look into one, but trying to be proactive and gain some more ideas/offers.

Any other pieces or combos that look intriguing to anyone to try from my team/his? I'd ultimately like to upgrade my flex from Drake and at the same time there's the Zeke situation that could cause my team to plummet. Julio would become my Wr1 if I move Hopkins

Well first of all, you got REALLY lucky he declined that offer. That's selling Hopkins at a pretty big discount.

As for what I would want from him, it would have to include Gordon, Ertz and that 1st to even get trade talks going. Highly doubtful he goes for that considering he declined the other offer, so you're probably best off walking away from this and keeping Hopkins

Agree with Thomas, you should be glad he declined that offer. At this point, there's no point in continuing discussion with that owner since he's already unwilling to pay what Hopkins is worth.

Piling on, that trade was really bad for you, glad it was declined for your sake. I would move on from any potential trade here.

I'd hold hopkins and build around him unless someone offers something you can't refuse. Don't go looking for it

Don’t mind trading Hopkins if you want but return should include a big piece, ala Zeke, JuJu, AK, Barkley and maybe a few others with others pieces included with most. I agree, if I were that guy I would have accepted that treads in a heartbeat for Hopkins!
