Trade Away Cooks

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade Away Cooks

Postby SaQuads_9 » Thu Aug 22, 2019 11:34 am

Team 1 in signature.

I have an offer on the table to give up Cooks for Ballage, NKeal, and a second (late). The team interested also has DK/Hollywood and 2 first (both probably top 5). I know my depth is weak at RB and receiver so this would help but it seems like giving up such a good asset in Cooks would only hurt my chances to compete this year if Sanders/Ridley/Breida pan out.

Should i hold cooks with this build and figure out depth later or a trade/counter?

Not sure why Ballage is included, he's essentially worthless in this trade.

Harry and a 2nd isn't terrible value for Cooks, but I would probably pass. Until we see Harry impress, he's pretty risky. You know Cooks puts up decent numbers

Nah. If Harry turns into a low end WR1 like Cooks you'd be happy. So this trade is basically Ballage (meh), a late 2nd (meh), and you taking on the risk of a young WR not developing versus already having that developed, young WR. If that 2020 2nd was a 1st I'd think about it more, but otherwise I'd pass.

I don't really see the appeal in this trade either.

Harry with Brady retired or Cooks who has produced everywhere he’s played?
