OTC with trade offer

OTC with trade offer

For Team 1 in sig, I am in year 2 of my rebuild.

I traded a package that included my 2020 1st for 1.02 and took Jacobs.

I have picks 1.04 and 1.05 as well. I used 1.04 on David Montgomery and I'm OTC with pick 1.05 and planning to take Sanders. I just got the following offer for Montgomery.

Give: David Montgomery
Receive: Jordan Howard, 2020 1st (likely in pick range 5-8), 2020 2nd

Presumably, I'd take Miles Sanders at 1.05 and have locked down the Philly backfield. However, I'm very tempted to keep Montgomery and draft Sanders so I would come out of the draft with the three top rookie RBs even though I wouldn't have a 1st in 2020.

Thoughts?

The trade and the pick shouldn't really impact one another. Whether or not you make the trade, taking Sanders at 1.05 is the right move. As for the trade, I'd probably stay put since the 2020 1st looks to be on the later side.

Agreed. I wouldn't be taking anybody other than Sanders at 1.05 either way.

I'm keeping Montgomery. He should have a pretty solid rookie season and be worth more than that pick come next off season
