D/ST value in deep 16 team league

Normally D/ST have little to no value, but I have 3 and another team has none. There are none available and never will be unless there’s an expansion. What should I ask for to trade the Dolphins D/ST? He offered a 5th & 6th next year but I drafted a couple 5th rounders this year and skipped my 6th, so that seems light. Is a 3rd reasonable?

- Will Fuller (for BAL)
- Austin Hooper (for SEA)
- rookie 1st (for NE)
- rookie 1st (for DET)

He has no 2nd next year but has two ‘21 2nds and all his picks.

It certainly has value if he's scoring 0's instead of 6's+ every week. If he has that gap + a full roster what sorta players constitute his bottom 50% that may be tradeable?

Most of his roster wouldn’t help me much. I’m partly wanting the roster spot to add someone. His roster:

Based on some of the trade values here, I would ask for a 2nd in 2020 and 2021. 1st round picks for a DST twice?? Crazy

My league is only 12 teams, but I have the same problem with defenses. Everyone hoards them and only awful ones are on the available. I recently was holding the Bears, Pats, and Bills. So for reference, I traded the Bills for a 2021 3rd, simply because I wanted to open up a roster spot. I don’t view the Dolphins as 3rd round pick worthy, but if he’s desperate, he may do it. I think you are looking at more of a 4th round pick at the most.
