Sony, Mixon, and Sammy

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Sony, Mixon, and Sammy

Postby Hankybro21 » Mon Aug 19, 2019 8:40 am

Couple questions for Team 2 in sig.

1. I'm looking to move Sammy for 2020 picks. What's his value now? Mid/Late First? Or early 2nd?

2. What is the difference, if any, between Mixon and Sony. I'd be looking to sell Sony and acquire Mixon. Would a 2019 mid 2nd get it done or is that too light? And does that even make sense for my build? I don't have much faith in Sony's knees (or any of my RBs knees, really) so would like to cash out while I can.

There is at least, at a minimum a first round pick difference between Sony and Mixon. As for Watkins, the most I would give is a 2nd round pick. I would turn down Sony and Sammy for Mixon in a second.
Team 1: 16 Team
QB's: Fields, Wentz,
RB: D. Harris, D. Montgomery, Kendre M.
WR: Chase, AJ Brown, Aiyuk, Bateman
TE: Waller, J. Woods, Dulich, Mayer

QB: Mahomes, Burrow, Watson
RB: Hall, Walker, Javonte, Pacheco, K Mitchell, Dobbins
WR: Godwin, JSN, Pittman, Pickens, Toney, DP Jones, S Moore
TE: Andrews, Fant, Likely
(2024) 1.03, 2.03, 3.03
(2025) Top 3 1st, my 1st

Team 3 SF, TEP, Start 11 ppr
QB: AR, Watson, Young, Levis
RB: ETN, Walker, Pierce, Akers, Pacheco, Herbert, Warren, Kelley

Agree. I wouldn't pay a 1st for Sammy, but I probably would at least ask for a late 1st if I'm moving him. As for Sony and Mixon, there's a pretty big gap between the two right now.

I wouldn't sell Sammy for a 2nd....not sure you'll get someone to give up a 2020 1st for him though. He's a hold. Sell window closed when Tyreek's non-suspension was announced.

IF ANY?? Mixon is generally valued as a top 6 RB right now, whereas Michel's value has plummeted this offseason because (a) the Pats drafted an RB in the 3rd and (b) his knee issues (not to mention the general inconsistency of NE RBs). A 2019 mid-2nd on top of Sony would get you laughed at...even prior to Sony's value dropping. The gap is multiple 2020 1sts.

Fair enough. Guess I didn't realize how much Sony's value has fallen for some. Guess he's a hold for the time being

As as a fellow Sony owner the “hold” for this time is likely his entire career. I don’t blame the other owners rithet

I don't think Michel was ever within a 2nd of Mixon. The gap may have been 1 2020 1st at some point, but Michel has never been in the top 30 of ADP.

Late 1st / early 2nd

I think most Mixon owners would need at least Michel + early 1st to sell.

1. 2nd rounder is the most likely return for Watkins. If you put out feelers to your league and anyone offers a 2020 1st, jump on it.

2. As a Mixon owner I would want multiple 1sts added to Michel for Mixon to even consider moving him and I would still most likely pass.
