Startup 1.01 - Saquon or Trade back?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

I’ve looked in here and can’t seem to find the consensus. New league.

What do I do with this pick? If I trade back, what’s the value?

I would take Barkley with the pick unless you get a few early round picks coming back.

I mean...what's the best offer you have? Obviously if someone offers you 1.02 + 2.11 + 2020 1st you take that. 1.12 + 2020 1st you do not.

All depends on the return you could potentially get. I’d simply put it out there the pick is for sale and see what happens.

Barkley may be the easiest 1.01 we've had in our lifetime. It would take a lot for me to give that up.

Some good discourse. I know he’s an easy pick and obviously depends on if I get a Kong’s ransom or what the offer is. Draft is this weekend. I’ll report back. Thank you guys!

What ended up happening? I was gonna say if you could get 1.4 plus something of decent value that is the direction I would go. I think Barkley, CMC, Zeke, Kamara will all shake out to be close in scoring week to week and are all very young.

I think Zeke should not be considered in the top group right now given the holdout (plus his character concerns).

Pretty obvious but if you get or send a deal act like players are in the deal to compare. Ex. Give 1.01 and get 1.12/3.12/2020 pick would be Saquon for Evans/Fournette/2020. Act like you already own Saquon and only sell if its a decent overpay.

Jomaed- that’s great feedback. I always have trouble visualizing the hypothetical. - that actually helps quite a bit. Thank you.

Barkley, and then you have ample amount of time to trade after the fact. You get players and picks that are static. Getting startup up picks has uncertainty to it. Take Barkley and field trade offers later, if you're not blown away.

I’d you can move back to 2 or 3 for something decent if do it and take cmc or kamara.
