Josh Gordon being Reinstated. Did I make the right decision?

With JG being reinstated, was my trade in which I got a second that I turned into A.J Brown good? My friend who I traded him to is going crazy in the group chat. Its a 12 team ppr league, and I have plenty of good WRs, so its not a team issue, I just wonder if I didn't get good enough value since I traded him with the impression that he was done.

Of course the person with Gordon is going crazy now that the player he got is actually allowed to play. I still wouldn't give up AJ Brown or a 2020 1st for Gordon, though. I'd have mixed feelings about the fact that you got a 2nd for him in retrospect if not for the AJ Brown deal.

Also...tough to judge in hindsight. 2nd rounder was good value prior to this news breaking.

I would rather have Brown long term. I still dont think Gordon can put in a full season or keep it together.

I drafted Gordon in both my leagues in the 7th round of the rookie/free agent draft, just looking to turn the pick into a 2nd or 3rd 2020

Unless you have a time machine I wouldn't think twice about it. Given the offseason news I would have betted on a Gordon re-instatement, but like everyone else said I don't think he'll be able to stay out of trouble with the league.

You made the decision with different circumstances. You have him up for that because he was in a negative position. Now that it changed its over, you wish you wouldn't have but o well. He still has a chance of screwing up again but if not he has a chance to really produce. Hindsight is 20/20. Other owner took a risk and might be rewarded. Just have to wait and see

At the time that was an amazing value for Gordon
Now I still wouldn’t be mad over getting brown for Gordon and I’d still probably make that trade

AJ brown is a first round value and you traded a guy who is maybe worth a speculative second for him. I’d say you won handily
