Future of CIN receivers?

Postby Heartwork » Fri Aug 16, 2019 1:00 pm

Are any of these guys the future of the CIN receiving core? I don't know why but I'm not sold on Boyd. If you had to add any of these guys who would you add?

Out of the group, I like Morgan Jr. the best. Solid wr in college and has more of an NFL build and overall skill set.

Boyd really can't get any respect. What do people not like about him except that he didn't catch a lot of balls from Jeff Driskel?

As far as the questions. I think I like Tate the most from that group, but I would so no one is the most likely answer.

I love Boyd , I don't think people realize he was outscoring Juju through 8 weeks with a lot worse QB when his team was healthy

Stealing this from Scott Barrett in case anyone missed it. -

3. Last season, Tyler Boyd averaged:
3A. 15.8 fantasy points per game (19th-most);
3B. 16.7 fantasy points per game when Andy Dalton was active (15th-most);
3C. 17.4 fantasy points per game when A.J. Green was active (12th-most);
3D. He ranks 25th at the position in current ADP.

My only concern with Boyd is that he settled for WR2 money. If he was elite I feel like he could have demanded more.

It's weird that he put up 1k yards in 14 games and no one is excited. I mean, not excited in the least. Not even smiling. I only get trade offers of 2nd's for him at best. He is going to be the new Brandin Cooks. 4 1k yard seasons. hmmm, I'll give you a mid 1st for him.

As for your question, I just go with Stanley due to Waldman liking him. Haven't watched him closely.

I'm very confused as well as to why everyone is down on Boyd. He took three years to break out so all of sudden he's not talented? Last time I checked, that was the norm for receivers. I love me some Boyd and I'm trying to buy him everywhere right now.

Boyd is becoming an elite route runner and he doesn't drop the ball. Those 2 things are pretty decent attributes for a WR.

Maybe the OP meant: future of Cin WR in addition to Boyd? I also really like Boyd and wish I owned him.
