late 1st for Guice?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Agreed, I sold Guice for what projects to be a very early 2020 1st and even that I felt bad about. I would gladly turn around and give a project late 1st to get him back.

I think a late 1st is about right, but I still am not sure I would love investing in that team being the redskins. I suppose "new team" and new staff is likely next year, so maybe that makes it a better option than it feels right now. I don't think it's a bad deal by any stretch, but maybe if you are rebuilding you might do just as well with a younger RB in the class next year. Not a great answer, but just thinking through how I would value him if I was planning to rebuild and wanted to get a big piece of that 20' class.

I would say I'd want to be certain I was trading away the 1st of a team that is loaded and deep. Also, that team is pretty terrible, which is a good thing for next year. You should have a good shot at 1st overall.

I would gamble on Guice for a late 1st. He still could be a beast.

Given all of the first round picks you have, I would offer a late 1st to guice. You could use the RB too given your roster.

Talent over situation. David Johnson and mixon both put up top tenish points last year and I still hear people say avoid them because of their bad situations. Good players do good things. Buy buy buy

With the injury and how he’s been reported coming back from it, with how much of a zoo the Washington offence is it’s tough to give up a 1st for him, especially in 2020 with a projected loaded draft.
