Anybody worth adding from free agency?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Anybody worth adding from free agency?

Postby NFL123 » Tue Aug 13, 2019 2:03 pm

For team 1 in sig, the following are available:

RB: Mike Davis, CJ Anderson, Mike Weber, Devine Ozigbo

WR: Randall Cobb, Josh Reynolds, DeMarcus Robinson, Darius Slayton

TE: Rob Gronkowski, Ricky Seals-Jones, Jason Witten, Will Dissly, Matt LaCosse

TE is a weakness, so I could do with adding another TE but difficult to see who I can drop. Any thoughts would be much appreciated.

I still really like Reynolds long term. He showed pretty well last year when given a chance. Seals - Jones and Ozigbo are interesting as long as you have the space as well as no tough cuts.

Unless you need two Defenses I would drop one for Dissly.

I would drop Preston and pickup Gronk. Preston will never play for you and if Gronk isn't back by week 4 you can drop him and pickup someone else. If Gronk actually comes back you fill your TE issue with a top 3 TE. None of the other players have that type of upside (even if the odds slim he returns). Or drop your second DEF - those are never needed unless you have some special requirements.

Ricky Seals-Jones is a guy I like. Got a chance with a better QB this year.

I would drop Malcolm Brown and Drew Lock (why do you have 4 QBs in a 1QB league?) for C.J. Anderson and Randall Cobb.
