Preston or Jakobi

Waivers open up tonight and I’m still not sure who to jump on and how much to bid out of our $100

My whole league is talking about these guys so i know I’ll have to bid high to get one.

Who do you recommend and how much do I bid?

Just thought I’d let everyone know what Preston went for in my league.. I went really high at $30 to land Preston, and I got him.. maybe too much but we’ll see.. thought I’d take the chance.. found out that I beat the next top bidder by only $2, who was at $28.

Williams. I'd bid $7-8 on him.

Even on a worse offense, there's an unsettled WR depth chart for him to potentially ascend. Even if Meyers becomes a "starter" in NE, the offense will rely on the RBs and Edelman with Dorsett / Harris / Meyers / Watson splitting targets behind them.

Preston Williams. There is no clear cut #1 in Miami as of now and no great options. $10 seems fine if you don't want to lose him.

and has been clean since. So I would not say that.

Williams, but I’d be surprised if $10 got him. The deeper the league the more you need to spend early... I’d spend much more than $10.

I just spent $6 on Preston and scooped up Jakobi for $1. Smaller league so I doubt you can grab them for that little, but hope that gives you an idea of the market value on each.

I think you're going to have to spend some real $$$$ to get Preston...

In my league we have a $200 budget for preseason/regular season. An absolutely stacked team grabbed Preston for $130.

There’s so few fantasy relevant players that come through on waivers every year that overspending on a guy isn’t a bad play.
