Trade blocked by league

I receive: Mike Williams & 2021 3rd rounder, 2021 8th rounder
I Send: 2021 1st round & 2021 2nd rounder

Trade was blocked by league commissioner. They said the trade is not fair. Said I am getting trade raped. Personally I'm trying to build some WR depth.

Long story short...The team sending me Mike Williams does have a stacked team so they are trying make the league more competitive by not allowing him to receive 1st and 2nd round picks in the future for someone he may have had to drop (because of the maximum numbers of payers kept) We keep 12 players so most likely he wouldn't of been one of his 12 keepers. I don't have a first round pick this year so chances of me getting him in the draft are slim.

Do you think this is fair by the league?

I would look for a different league ASAP. So an owner has built a good team so now can no longer trade for 1st or 2nd round picks as a punishment and you can't better your team by trading with that owner...no thanks.

leave the league. they can't even do bad things (veto trades) properly in this league.

a first two years out for mike williams is a very good price and I'm not a mike williams guy.

Nothing wrong with that trade. Should not be blocked. Show your league this post. Shouldn't be blocking ANY trades unless collusion is suspected.

LoL time for a new league. Several items of concern around this. 1) you’re definitely not being trade raped, you’re winning the trade 2) the commissioner shouldn’t have final say and 3) why the hell does the league have 8 round rookie drafts?!? A 2021 8th?!?

The commissioner is the one who lacks integrity, and if the commissioner lacks integrity, then it's a league doomed to fail.

Show him these replies and if he doesn't change his mind, then both you and your trade partner should quit the league. I'd quit if I saw that as a 3rd party owner in that league.
