Chubb Sale Rebuild

Postby jkid2 » Thu Aug 08, 2019 9:52 am

It’s a 12 team superflex .2 PPC rebuilding team. Team is not in sig. I was offered 3 2020 1sts for Chubb. Should I take it?

Would depend on where the 1sts are projected. If they're all late, then I'd pass. But three 1sts in a SF is pretty good value. You can possibly get one of the top QBs next year, along with two other very good players.

It’s very hard to tell but none of them are from teams I’m expecting to be really great. But it’s obviously a huge gamble.

Also this will make my own team a dumpster fire and will likely give me the 1.01 with my own 2020 1st that I own.

If your team is a dumpster fire by only moving Chubb then it sounds like this is a fantastic offer, particularly since none of the 1sts are attached to great teams. I would hesitate to give up 2 1sts in next year's draft. 3 is an easy accept.

Ditto. If Chubb makes your team a dumpster fire, then I’m easily taking this deal and most likely moving any other player you have with any value.

Three 2020 1sts in a 12 man SF is a pretty good haul for Chubb. I would easily take that in a rebuild
10 Man IDP, .5 ppr, Big Play Bonus, 1 QB, 1-3 RB, 2-4 WR, 1-2 TE, 2 DT, 2 DE, 3 LB, 4 DB, 24 Keepers (12 off - 12 IDP)
QB: Brady, Wentz, Darnold
RB: D Freeman, Jacobs, Drake, Barber, Harris
WR: Thomas, Julio, Juju, Dede, P Williams, Hamilton, Cain
TE: Kittle, Olsen, Fant, Thomas
DT: Cox, Atkins, Tillery

LB: Kwon, Watt, Cunningham, White
DB: Collins, Reid, Reshad Jones, Edmunds, McDougald
D/ST: Jags

12 Man, 1 ppr, 1 QB, 1-3 RB, 1-3 WR, 1 TE *Rebuilding*
QB: Winston, Trubisky, Haskins
RB: Dion, Richard, Singletary
WR: Evans, Cooper, Shepard, Kirk, P Williams, Z Jones, Hamilton, Quinn, Diontae Johnson
TE: Henry, Herndon, Gesicki
D/ST: Texans
5 2020 1st's

TE (2-6) Brate, Doyle, Everett, Waller

Dynasty Deux (12 team .5 ppr) 2019 Champs

WR (3-4) Hopkins, Adams, Cooks, Golladay, Brown, JJAW, Johnson, Higgins

Im in agreement that if trading Chubb means you have a dumpster fire of a team, then I’d do the deal. Next years class is supposedly loaded (as I’m sure you’ve heard a lot already. Could get a RB better than Chubb, plus 2 other 1st round picks. Doesn’t sound like your team will compete even with Chubb.
12 team .5 PPR league. 1 QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX, 1 D/ST, 1 K, 13 BN, 1 IR

QB- Mahomes / Winston
RB- Kamara / Barkley / Mixon / Aaron Jones / Bernard / Justice Hill / Chris Thompson / Gallman
WR- OBJ / M Thomas / Cooper / Lockett / Kirk / Fitzgerald
TE- Ertz / Goedert
D/ST- Bears / Pats / Falcons
K- Butker / Koo

IR- Njoku

Taxi- Minshew / Pollard / Sutton / Diontae Johnson / Boykin / Dawson Knox

Picks- 2020: 1st, 3rd, 3rd
2021: 1st, 2nd, 2nd, 3rd, 3rd

I'd take the 1sts regardless of roster makeup especially in SF.
10 team, Full PPR, 27 man roster
2018 Champion
QB/2 RB/2 WR/1 TE/2 Flex/Defense/Kicker

QB: Wilson, Wentz
RB: Cook, Fournette, Mixon, Kerryon, Mattison, Armstead
WR: Beckham, KA, Diggs, DJ Moore, ARob, Fuller, AJ Brown, Harry
TE: Kelce, Andrews, Howard
Defense: Titans Bills
Kicker: Gay

2020 Picks: 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st, 1st
2021: 1st
