Justice Hill?

Just made a move that got Mark Ingram for team 2 below.

This is Best Ball scoring, so having Justice Hill makes more sense to my team than in normally would.
The owner wants a 2020 2nd. It also means I'd have to drop one extra player since I need to cut 3-4 off my roster before the season.

Thoughts?

I don't think he's worth a 2nd, but can see paying that for him as an Ingram owner. However, it would still depend on who you're dropping to roster him. I personally can't count 4 players on your roster that are worth less than Hill, especially if it also meant having to give up a 2nd.

I do think he's worth a 2nd personally, but I do agree that having to cut another player too makes it even less intriguing to do. Maybe try adding someone he could use into the trade and make it a 2020 3rd instead? I don't know when the other guy drafted him though, but just a thought.

He wants Jackson on top of the 2nd.
Jackson is close to my cut line anyway. So at the end of the day it might still be just Hill for a 2nd. I'd probably cut Ollison, McGuire, Mullins and either Chase or Bernard.
If I don't do the trade I still cut 3 of those guys and probably Jackson... So, in my mind it's still just Hill for a 2nd.
Does that make sense?

No way. I'd consider Jackson straight up, but not with an added 2nd, even if you might cut him anyway. It's a very real possibility that Gordon is either traded off the team or sitting out when the season starts and then Jackson is worth a whole lot more than Justice.

And I'd be cutting Ollison, McGuire, Edmonds, and Bernard before Jackson.

Good to hear the support for Jackson. He has no value in this league for some reason. But that's why I was able to get him for free over the summer.

In a best ball and as an Ingram owner I can see that. I had him as a second rounder this year, and even with as good of a class as 2020 is supposed to be, a second in 2019 is better than a future second.

I also think his value is better in best ball than a normal league

Wait for him to drop him during the season and pick him up then. Or maybe in,-season it will make more sense to trade for him if the other owner needs a depth player you can spare
