Tyreek vs Aaron Jones
For team 1 in my signature: I'm stacked at WR, but thin at RB. Got an offer on the table to move Tryeek for Aaron Jones. Is this enough and would it be wise? I don't think Aaron Jones is going to be elite, but I could use the depth for bye weeks and injuries. It's very difficult to acquire good RBs in this league, but I'm open to other ideas as well and willing to move any of my WRs.

Re: Tyreek vs Aaron Jones
Getting RB's is always pricey, but I would not move Hill for Jones. I think Jones has solid value this year but long term, this is Hill easily for me.
Re: Tyreek vs Aaron Jones
You should be getting a way better RB for a young top dynasty WR. Would need to add a lot to Jones to make this worth a second glance.

Re: Tyreek vs Aaron Jones
Don't play the game with your league where you are willing to trade an elite WR for a RB like Aaron Jones. For the record, I love Aaron Jones...but his value hasn't risen to be equal to a guy like Hill yet, therefore, you should not pay that kind of price premium (at a loss). If your league is playing that tough to get RB b/s, start collecting WR's and picks. Trade for and then keep high end WR's, and draft RB's with the picks you collect (of course use BPA where it makes sense). It can be a slow process, but 2020 should be loaded at RB, and your league will pay the price...I did this for 2017 and 2018, and my team went from a tough spot, to absolutely rock solid. The idea is..build your foundation on WR's, because they last way longer than RB's, and generally are less likely to injury. Once your roster is rock solid at WR, you fill with young RB's. It makes sense from the perspective of, rookie RB's are more likely to contribute, than rookie WR's. Just my 2 cents, don't play that game with them. When they zigg, you zagg.

Re: Tyreek vs Aaron Jones
I still wouldn’t do it. Hill will still be an elite dynasty asset next year and while I like jones who knows what’s gonna happen next year or even this year with the new coaching staff. You could hypothetically trade a top 5 wr for a top 20 rb next offseason depending on how it all turns out this year

Re: Tyreek vs Aaron Jones
We’re in agreement. I said a lot would need to be added to Jones. Can’t say you wouldn’t do it without knowing what the “a lot” is.Finfansteve wrote: ↑Sat Jul 27, 2019 7:32 pmI still wouldn’t do it.
