Team post trade is in the signature below

My team was super thin at WR.

I gave: James Conner, 2020 first ( projected very early ~top 3-5) and a projected late 2020 first

I got: JuJu, a random 2021 first and a 3rd and 4th in 2020.

How did i do?

I like the deal a lot. JuJu is a top 5 dynasty wr and you managed to get a future 1st rounder coming back with him. Very solid.

I think you overpaid, as I don't see the gap between JuJu and Conner being an early 2020 1st. Also, I'm not sure you're ready to compete, so this is a big gamble that could backfire.

if this changes anything, i still have a 2020 first projected early to mid. The one i gave was definitely the best but not a lock to be better than the one i currently own.

I like the value. I agree that you're not ready to compete yet either, but I'd rather build around Juju than Conner and a 1st. The fact that you still have an early projected 1st in 2020 and got a 1st back in 2021 makes it even better.

Even if he isn't contending I would think that paying the early first for JuJu is a fine move for a rebuild. Juju is so young, and we believe so safe of a play, that it's fine. If you swap Connor for say, Dalvin Cook, would you still not like the trade? I think Connor, Cook, guys like that are fine, but there is certainly a much higher risk of busting than Juju. The first seems like a fair trade off. I'd say the trade was pretty even value wise but safer overall.

I agree that JuJu has top-5 WR upside, but I also think that Conner has top-5 RB upside. Another year of RB1 production from Conner, and I would say that most would likely value the two similarly. I just don't think the gap is an early 2020 1st, especially given how hyped that rookie class already is.
