Should chris Thompson be owned?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

non-ppr... I'd say he's really on the cusp. does not need to be owned but isn't a bad roster stash either.

I dont think so unless you have deep rosters and no tough cuts or decisions to make.

It would depend on who is on the waiver wire, but my guess w/ that many players per roster in a 12 team league, even w/out PPR, I’d say he’s probably assume he’s in the top 276 players, especially if there is no IDP or 2 QB situations going on.

That said, side question, why do we call non-ppr, standard leagues? Are they really the majority still? (Just wondering)
Team 1

QB- Carr, Mac
RB- Kamara, Patterson, Swift, Ingram, Foreman, Breida
WR- M Thomas, Metcalf, Keenan, Bourne, AB, Waddle, Green, D-Jax, Landry, St. Brown
TE- Waller, Hockenson
K- Tucker
D- Miami
Start: QB, 2 RBs, 2 WRs, TE, WR/RB, WR/TE, K, D

Because nonppr leagues were the original norm. Ppr is a variation of the original.

He will likely be cut from my team unless he shows out in pre season. But then I wonder, what happens if AP or Guice goes down? How much would he be used in that scenario? Who knows... It's hard to let go sometimes..

Depends on who you're looking to add instead of Thompson, but no, not a must-own.

Pretty much this. I can see a scenario where he gets some run (Guice's injury history, AP's age, and Love not ready), but not someone who "needs" to be owned.

No. He shouldn't, but it really depends on who else you or anyone else is rostering. He might be a better option.

I'm not sure if I will keep or drop him. I think he still gets some passes thrown his way but I see very few carries. Just enough to surprise the Def every once in a while.
