Damien Harris Value

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Damien Harris Value

Postby Bubba90 » Wed Jul 24, 2019 1:05 pm

I used pick 32 a couple months ago, and now I have another owner offering a 2020 2nd. Any advice?

I'd probably take the 2020 2nd, but you could gamble and hold for now. If Michel misses a chunk of training camp, you might be able to sell Harris for a 2nd + 3rd or maybe even two 2nds.

Thanks, original offer was a 2020 3rd and 4th, but wasn’t appealing for me and he went to a 2nd. That’s a good point about Michel and I’ll keep it in mind.

Agreed. Michel seems to have some serious injury concerns.

I'd hold. His value could spike if he gets any extended time as a featured back.

I'm not convinced he'll get extended work even if Michel misses time. I'd rather have the 2nd next year.

I own Michel and I would prefer to stay away from that complicated backfield. Even with Michel missing time, Burkhead, White and Bolden muddling the waters make me lean towards the future pick.

Take the 2020 2nd.

Last year was the first time in a while we were able to trust a Pats RB. I like Harris but that backfield is as crowded as ever. Harris can be a three down back but I'd imagine he'll be used more in short yardage situations this season. We won't know his true value for a few more years.

He was worth a mid to late 2nd this year. I've occasionally seen him go earlier.

I would ask for more. Or wait until preseason, he might spike some value there.
