Offer for AJ Green

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Offer for AJ Green

Postby Motay316 » Thu Jul 18, 2019 12:16 pm

Received an offer for AJ Green, essentially the trade would be Cooper Kuup and a 2.06 for AJ Green. Is this enough for Green considering the 5 year age gap. I like the idea of getting younger in this move but Green is a more dynamic receiver. Thoughts

It's not terrible but I think I'm higher on Kupp than most. I'd probably take it.

I personally would keep AJG. Think his value is still low from the 'What have you done for me lately bias'

Couple strong games and you can get a better offer.

AJG pretty easily for me. An earlier second in 2020 would make me rasie an eyebrow, but the 2.06 in this class does absolutely nothing for me.

The 2.06 probably doesn't carry a lot of weight, so it's basically a straight up swap. The two are probably closer in value these days due to the age gap and I'm not sure you can get much more than that offer. If you're competing, I'd stick with Green. If not, it's not a terrible offer and wouldn't blame you either way.

Other than teams who are competing in a 2 year window I'm not sure you will get much interest in Green - as good as he is - with his durability issues.

I would keep Green unless a 1st or another young upside player was add to the Kupp side. Green is a wr1 when healthy.

I'd sell for that.
