Trade away Kelce

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trade away Kelce

Postby UsualSuspects » Thu Jul 18, 2019 11:54 am

Team in signature.
After drafting Fant I would like to move either Kelce or Ertz for some RB help this season.

Would you trade Kelce to receive Guice and Royce Freeman?

Seems light but all the top backs seem out of reach. Not much action on Ertz (which I think would be a better fit in this trade)

No, not close at all. Kelce is elite and should carry that value regardless of who else you have on your team at TE.

WAY too light, and imo, with Goedert playing along side of him now, and coming off the best season of his career, I would look to cash out on Ertz of the two, even if you have to look elsewhere. But that's just me.

I wouldn't even consider that for Kelce. He will give you such a massive week to week advantage at that position that I'm not sure I would even entertain dealing him if I were a contender. If there isn't a market for Ertz now I'd hold on to both, and if you can get good value at the deadline I'd move him then. Once people see what a dumpster fire the TE position as a whole is I think you'll be able to get good value for Ertz.

All that said, Ertz may also be a good fit for your flex spot.

I had Kelce, Ertz, Howard- moved Ertz for Evans- I think Ertz is the one to move with Goedert and Philly looking at doing more 2 TE sets but that may give some idea what I was looking to get

I like Guice, but I wouldn't make that trade. If Kelce alone isn't getting you what you want, try to add to him and go after a proven stud. Or see if the Gordon owner is nervous and try to do it straight up.
