Samuel/Picks for 2020 1st+Geronimo

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Samuel/Picks for 2020 1st+Geronimo

Postby johnnymozart » Thu Jul 18, 2019 9:54 am

Owner has asked about acquiring a 1st in 2020 (he sold his) and I am high on Curtis Samuel. I also think Geronimo is going to have good value if healthy so he's not a schlub but his longterm outlook is so tied to Rodgers he may be just a JAG. I also value picks 12-20 this year draft as I think they're all pretty much the same tier. So I like his picks 14 and 19.

Anyway-- I was thinking of offering

2020 1st (1.07-1.11)
Geronimo Allison
2020 2nd (late)

For

Curtis Samuel
1.14
2.05

Is that too much? Not enough?

I wouldn't do that. I probably wouldn't move the 2020 1st alone for that.

Too much to get Samuel. Hold your 2020 1st.

Contrary to some, I would say I'd do that for your 2020 1st alone, but I wouldn't do it with the extra 2nd and Allison added.

Samuel >= Allison
2.05 = late 2020 2nd
Mid/late 2020 1st > 1.14

Take the 1sts out of the deal and do it if you really like Samuel.
