For team 1 in sig I've been in a full rebuild this off-season. Just made this trade:

Gave: Eric Ebron and my 2020 4th

Received: Mark Andrews, TJ Yeldon, 2019 2.10, and 2019 5.04

Thoughts?

I would have held out for a better return after Ebron's big season. It would take the right owner, but an overpay may have been out there.

Yeah, I've been trying to move him since December with little interest. I think Doyle combined with Ebron's past and his upcoming UFA status scared every owner away. That, and most of the top teams in the league already have a stud TE. I tried to get a 2020 1st but couldn't get any interest at all.

I would've rather kept Ebron, but I guess the value isn't terrible. Maybe you can eventually flip Andrews for a 2020 1st.

Don't like it. Unless Andrews takes a big step forward this year and puts up TE1 numbers, you'll regret making this trade.

What are everybody's thoughts on this now, in hindsight with the Luck retirement and LJax's evolution as a passer?

Gave: Ebron and 2020 4th

Received: MANdrews, TJ Yeldon, 2019 2.10 (took Benny Snell), and 2019 5.4 (took Damarea Crockett)

I also have three 2020 1sts, four 2020 2nds, and three 2020 3rds, so the 4th was quite possibly not even going to be used at all.

Andrews obviously has taken that big step forward that I said he would have to in order for this to be a good trade. Looking great after two weeks.

Yeah, it's always interesting seeing how stuff changes almost on a dime in dynasty. I just bumped it to see how the voting changed in just a few weeks. Luck retires and Andrews (and LJax as well) make the jump forward. I'm personally glad I bought in on the hype and got my guy, even though it was deemed as a loss for me.

Before: 9-2 in favor of Ebron

Now: 12-10 overall, so 10-1 towards the Andrews side since I bumped it yesterday.

To be fair, just because a trade looks good now, doesn't mean it was good then. You still left some value on the table and should have gotten more. The comments from a few months ago were not wrong at the time, you just happened to get lucky, which happens a lot in this game. Glad it worked out for you, but could have been even better.

I think this all depends on the market in your individual league. I tried to sell Ebron for about 6-8 months before I settled on this trade. He had, quite literally, no market in this league. I couldn't even get a 2020 1st by offering Ebron and a 2020 2nd.
