12 Team PPR

Im a contender but need RB help, also something to keep in mind is this league has positional limits (which I hate and are killing me)

Dak/Cam/Trubisky
Kerryon/Fournette/Tevin/L Miller
MThomas/Julio/Pettis/MWill/CD/Trequan/Keke/Daesean
Kittle/Henry/Gesicki/Jonnu

We can carry max of 6 RBs, 8 WRs and 3 TEs(trying to trade one) I also own the 1.07 trying to trade some of my WRs for picks to upgrade my RBs but not having much luck.

Would you sell Julio for Penny,Tyler Boyd,1.10?

I view it as 3 1sts for Julio as I think Penny and Boyd are both worth a 1st. Gives me options I can package the 1.07/1.10 to move up and try and snag Montgomery. Or likely looking at Hendo at 1.07 and TE or good WR at 1.10, or can trade it to a needy team for a 2020 pick. My team doesnt have many holes as I see it other than RB.

Well i think trading Julio is a smart idea if you like the other options.

Under no circumstance would i be taking henderson at 1.07 though

I wouldn't move Julio for that, especially since you're trying to compete.

Wouldn't do that if I'm a contender. Also, you need to propose a league vote immediately to eliminate positional limits. No need for that in a 12 team league.

I like Henderson regardless of Gurleys knee. Who wouod you be taking at 1.07? I dont need a TE, and my roster is already full of WR2/3 types (Pettis,MWill,Keke) only other option is to trade back, then Ive got to cut more players and my roster>trading back as I prefer Keke,Daesean,Trequan to guys Im likely getting in mod/late 2nd. All could change depending on who falls etc.

Ive tried to get rid of the positional limits and its not happening.. long running league that still uses a K and D/ST.... as Im typing this Ive decided Im just gonna try and win it all this year and leave the league. Cant stand positional limits at all and also the non IDP leagues just arent as fun for me anymore... so gonna keep Julio and hope I can ride LF/Kerryon/Tevin all season..

As a contender, I would not move Julio for that package. Not sure it helps your team all that much losing Julio's points.

No, I wouldn't. It feels like you're trading a dollar for four quarters. I do think your evaluation of Julio for three 1sts is accurate tho. This man is a stud and has shown no signs of slowing down.

As reference, I've got a contending team and traded Julio for three 2020 firsts at the beginning of the offseason. I'm deep at WR and felt the value was too good to pass up. If I wasn't deep at WR, I likely would not have made the trade.

On the flip side, I'm trying to buy Julio back to get another WR1 on my team. I offered the Julio owner Cooper Kupp and DK Metcalf which got turned down pretty quickly. I thought a young, established WR with a high upside prospect would be enough to get the Julio owner interested/engaged. It wasn't. I've got other WRs like Pettis or ARob I could package with Kupp but I'd rather keep the added depth/youth for now and consolidate during the regular season if need be. I'd probably up my offer to Kupp and ARob for Julio if I decided to go down that route.

Yeah I agree with your assessment. I think Penny,Boyd are both worth a 1st so it may be fair “value” but its like robbing Peter to pay Paul. Likely shop one of my WR2 like M. Williams or Pettis for a RB. Can even package my 1.07/WR if need be. Its tough to trade in this league. Likely my last year in the league, not a fan of position limits at all

I agree with the others, this is not the right time to sell Julio, especially if you're a contender. Definitely re-evaluate where you're at midseason, if you're not a contender anymore at that point then I think that would be a perfect time to offload Julio to a contending team for a decent haul. Mid July is not the right time to try and sell him.
