Trading for Ertz in an extreme TE premium league

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Trading for Ertz in an extreme TE premium league

Postby jnappy » Sun Jul 07, 2019 8:33 am

For team 1 in sig. TEs in this league don't get a scoring boost, but because there are 32 teams with no copies and everyone has to start one, they are very valuable. Should I trade AJG/Jones for Ertz/Pettis/Foreman in this league?

Obviously TE is my weakest position and I kind of think this will be my last chance to offload AJG for a haul, so I really want to do this, but it's tough giving up Jones. What do you guys think?

Seems like having a top TE gives you a huge advantage over to the rest of the league. I would consider moving Green for Ertz but you would then be really thin at WR.

I don't think you have the fire power to acquire Ertz... (without hurting another position)
use your 1.06 to get Hock or Fant... or perhaps trade try to trade both picks for Ertz
team 1 -start QB RB 2WR TE 2RB/WR 1WR/TE
qbs=5pt tds wr/te=1 ppr rbs=.5ppr all get .25ppc
Watson, Brady, Mills
Ekeler, Hunt, Carson/Penny, DForeman, Mitchell, CPat, Kyren, Ford, KHarris
Cooper, sutton, Chase, Shepard, Atwell, Schwartz, Wan'Dale, Austin III
Gesicki, Engram, Hooper, Woods
team 2 -start QB 2RB 3WR TE 2Flex K D
Cousins, Stafford
DH JT, Ekeler, Kylin Hill, Herbert, KHarris, Chandler
Hopkins, Diggs, Adams, Godwin, McLaurin, Callaway, DPJ, Robby Anderson, Schwartz, Pierce, Wan'Dale, Doubs
Kelce, Andrews, Jacob Harris

I know he won't do it for both picks unfortunately. I offered him the pick that turned into 1.06 and AJG for Ertz late last season and he declined.
