What to do with 1.06?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What to do with 1.06?

Postby dcr1984 » Wed Jul 03, 2019 9:01 am

For team 1 in sig.

I have a decent but not elite team and I'm not sure I'm thrilled picking at 1.06 (though Damien Williams is on the WW so assuming he gets taken it's more equivalent to 1.05).

I have a number of offers on the table and can't figure out which direction to go. Would you accept or counter any of the following:

1: 1.06 + Ingram for Hilton

2. 1.06 for Hunter Henry

3. 1.06 + Kerryon Johnson for Henry, S. Watkins + 2020 first.

4. 1.06 + Devonta Freeman for Eric Ebron + 2020 first.

I'm torn at the moment. Certainly could use some TE or WR3 help, and love the idea of picking up a 2020 first from a middle of the road team (both these teams offering 2020 first are pretty average), but are any of these offers enough for 1.06?

Trade #3 - probably does the most for your team but not crazy about it. I would probably not make any of those deals with your build.

I think getting Hunter Henry for the 1.06 is a pretty good deal

According to the Dynasty Trade Analyzer, trades 1 and 3 are close; and trades 2 and 4 would be horrible deals for you. I like Kerryon too much to consider #3, and #1 doesn't net you a TE. Honestly I would be inclined to take best available TE at 1.06 or trade back (slightly) if you don't think the value is there.

I would do trade 1 for sure. I'd probably do trade 2 as well, although I'm higher on Henry than most. But he's a definite upgrade over Graham. Your team looks like it could be competitive. I would be more than happy to do either one of the first two trades. I think they both make you more competitive.

I like option 3 > 1 > 2 in that order.

I do not like option 4, and i probably would trade for Henry before taking Hock or Fant at 1.06.

I'm not a fan of the trades except 1.06 for Henry.

Wait until you're on the clock. If Williams is there, take him

1.06 for Hunter Henry is a bad deal for you. Is the Henry in trade 3 also Hunter Henry? If it's Derrick Henry I'd be all over trade 3. If note trade 1 is a good value.

I'd do the Hilton trade pretty easily. With your roster and adding Hilton, I think you become an instant contender. Might have to address the TE position, but shouldn't be too difficult to find a reliable TE without giving up much.

Hunter Henry is a big upgrade over Graham, well worth 1.06. (If Williams isn't on the board)

Its not on the list, but I would propose this:
1.06 + Devonta Freeman for Henry, S. Watkins + 2020 first.
