How to value him?
He is coming back from an injury and Seattle will use Penny more.
What would you pay for him?

I would be more apt to pay a bit more for him if I owned Penny also. On his own, I could see a late 1st for Carson based on what he showed last year. The Seattle backfield situation is a mess so it's hard to value either Carson or Penny. End of the day, Carson was a 1000+ yard RB last year and looked really solid. I would have thought Penny would head into 2019 as the clear #1 RB in Seattle but now, not too sure. Carson is worth a mid to late 1st for me pending if you own Penny too.

Carson owners want a 1st. Non-Carson owners are likely not willing to pay a 1st. He's a guy who's probably most likely to get traded in package deal to the Penny owner.

He just sold for the 2.1 and 2.9 in one of my leagues.

I have him in some leagues. Havent had 1 person (penny owners included) that are willing to pay a 1st. Just hold and hope he starts hot I guess.

He is definitely a guy that is very hard to move/buy. Where I own him I wouldn't sell for anything less than a first, where I don't own him I wouldn't pay a first for him. That Seattle backfield is just too unsettled right now to accurately gauge his value. The first few weeks of the season may provide some clarity or they may not, only Seattle really knows.

I only acquired Carson because I owned Penny, who I only acquired because he was being sold for pennies on the dollar.

That being said, Carson is worth a late first. Mike Davis is gone, and that guy had like a thousand carries last year. Sure, Penny will take a lot of that, but not all of it. Seattle was the only team in the league that ran the ball more than they threw it. They were #1 in rushing last year, and Carson finished as the #15 overall RB, and again, Davis is gone this year.

He has value as an RB2. That's worth a late first to me.

Third and 2021 second.

wouldnt buy him unless i owned penny, too big a chance of it being a wasted investment.
