Anybody else on the ebron hype train for this year?

I pretty much concur. The TD regression could be balanced by better integration into the offense. The only games last year that Ebron didnt get many targets were ones where the Colts went run-heavy, which could shift if they feel more comfortable with him.

He had everything line up for him last year. TY and Doyle being hurt played a big role in his “breakout season”. When both were back, Ebron’s production dipped. Colts now have TY, Mack, Doyle, Campbell and Funchess alongside Ebron. I’d sell high before the season starts.

if he doesn't figure out how to catch the ball more consistently I don't see how they justify funneling him targets over doyle, who is a vacuum

Ebron clearly had red zone chemistry with Luck, and now they have a whole offseason to get more in sync. I'd expect more snaps for Ebron leading to more receptions and yards along with the regression in TDs. Overall, I'd still expect him to finish as a mid-range TE1 this season. I wouldn't pay top-3 prices, but I've seen Ebron being sold for 2nds. I'd happily buy for a late 1st or less.

I think he is in that big group after the top 3. We always knew Ebron was talented, we always knew the eagle offense Reich put in place loves move TEs, we always knew Stafford (perhaps because of the offense in place) didnt throw to TEs...I think this is the perfect place for Ebron.

Hes not going to repeat those TDs, but he will be a solid TE1. TE6 is my guess.
