12 team, PPR league.

My team:
QB - Carson Wentz, Sam Darnold
RB - Saquon Barkley, Alvin Kamara, Le'Veon Bell, James Conner, Phillip Lindsay, Latavius Murray, Benny Snell Jr.
WR - Julio Jones, Keenan Allen, Amari Cooper, Robert Woods, Chris Godwin, Adam Humphries, Hakeem Butler
TE - Zach Ertz, George Kittle, Ian Thomas
2020 Picks - 1

His team:
QB - Drew Brees, Dak Prescott, Matthew Stafford, Lamar Jackson
RB - Ezekiel Elliott, Austin Ekeler, Duke Johnson, Justin Jackson, Ty Montgomery, Tony Pollard, Rod Smith
WR - DeAndre Hopkins, Tyler Lockett, DJ Moore, Julian Edelman, Geronimo Allison, Mecole Hardman, Diontae Johnson, Tim Patrick
TE - Travis Kelce, Will Dissly, CJ Uzomah
2020 Picks - 1, 2, 3, 4

He told me he wants Conner, Bell, Samuels (I assume Snell as well) for Zeke plus "anyone on (his) bench and or any of (his) picks next season"

So what should I have him add to go with Zeke?

His 1st and 2nd. He has no bench players that I would be interested in.

100% make that deal if this is an option

Zeke and a '20 first, and then hit accept as fast as possible

Given your teams RB core, I’d probably not trade both Conner/Bell and the rest of Steelers backfield for essentially Zeke. I know a 2020 1st is tempting, but there’s nothing on his bench worth taking.

I’d rather have depth, then see how season unfolds before trading away solid options. Plus, Zeke is meeting with commish and would wait for outcome.

Lindsay and Murray could fill in if needed. Assuming that that 3rd RB spot is actually a flex, he has options at WR too.

That’s true, and I’m not devaluing Zeke. I’d just want more coming back the just Zeke and a 2020 1st, or someone other then a bench player that has better value. Samuels still has value as well.

I guess it depends on how you evaluate Conner and Bell. Yes you probably could get a little more. But I think there are enough questions for both Conner and Bell that it worth the trade for Zeke, but maybe I'm lower on Conner and Bell than most.

I tried to get him to swap Kelce for Ertz or Kittle in a deal but that was a non-starter.

It’s hard to value Bell, given his scenario but still has the ability to be a top 10 RB. Conner is the same, was last year a fluke? Who’s knows, but I think he still can produce solid numbers as well.

as others have said, take the 2020 1st and run with it.

Ask for 2020 1, 2020 2 and Tony Pollard. His comment seems to indicate he isn’t much bothered about his future picks or bench players. Maybe even be cheeky and ask for Mecole Hardman or Diontae Johnson as well.

Be happy to accept just the 2020 1 if need be.

Possibly wait until after Zeke meets with Goodell if you want to remove some risk.

So I think the deal on the table would be:

Give - Le'Veon Bell, James Conner, Jaylen Samuels, Benny Snell
Get - Dak Prescott (or Matthew Stafford), Ezekiel Elliott, Tony Pollard, 2020 1 (probably late), 2020 2 (probably late)

Any legit worry about Zeke and the league?

I was thinking a similar thing.. either he includes is first (Zeke/1st would do it) or swaps Zeke/Kelce/2nd for Bell/Conner/Snell/Ertz
