Pick 1.03

Postby jodscott213 » Fri Jun 28, 2019 9:24 pm

For team in sig. Pretty sure Jacob's and Sanders are going first 2. I know harry is probably best player at 3.but should i take him or montgomery. I'm honestly leaning Montgomery due to not trusting guice and fournette.

I'd lean Montgomery without knowing your starting requirements. Take a flier on WR at 1.10 (if you still have that pick) should be a couple interesting WRs still at 1.10
10 team .2 PPR, .2 return yards. 28 player rosters, 16 offensive keepers on cutdown day.

QB- Rodgers, Lamar J, Josh allen

RB- Sony Michel, Kerryon J, Royce Freeman, Kalen Ballage, CJ Anderson, Justin Jackson, Damien Harris, Alex Mattison, Qadree Ollison,

WR- Davante Adams, Tyreek H, Josh Gordon, Alshon Jeffrey, Curtis Samuel, K Stills, John Brown, Demaryius Thomas

TE- Eric Ebron, Chris Herndon, Dallas Goedert, Matt Lacosse, Will Dissly, Darren Waller

I agree, Montgomery. He could end up a starter for you, where I don't believe Harry would in most leagues

This. You don’t need anyone at 1.3 this year. I’d try to get a 1st in 2020 and a 2nd if you can.

Please, understand. I'm a patriots fan. If josh Gordon returns for this season harry will not even be startable initially. Edelman and Gordon on are the same page as Brady and has their trust. Also read reports of harry struggling and not being able to separate even a sliver from Gilmore in practice. Take Montgomery and use 1.10 on another WR and thank me later. Let alone going off of thebpatriots history of drafting WRs, and the fact they throw to the RBs as much as any team in the league. I could see harry being laquan treadwell for first two years easily. And that just means value goes down each year until he actually does prove it. Again, I'd love to be wrong about this being a patriots fan but I could see it happening (throwing to Edelman, Gordon, running Michel, throwing to white and burkhead.)

If Gordon doesn't end up playing i slightly change my view but still worried about his separation, especially at the NFL level. Harry was knocked for not separating in college, even much harder at the NFL level.

Go BPA or I like the idea of trading out for multiple picks in 2020.

I had pick 1.02 and 1.03 in my recent draft and went Sanders and Montgomery. I was on the N'Keal train for a few weeks but if he could not separate in a weaker college conference, then he won't be able to separate in the NFL. I also went RB due to the fact that I own Guice and Fournette (same as you) and needed the depth/insurance behind those guys.
10 Team. PPR. 25 player roster. 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2 Flex, 1 SF, 1D
QB - Justin Herbert. Anthony Richardson. Geno Smith. Sam Howell.
RB - Saquon Barkley. JK Dobbins. Tony Pollard. Leonard Fournette. Kareem Hunt. Devin Singletary. Zamir White. Tyjae Sharp. Jaylen Warren. Jerome Ford. Zach Evans. Chris Rodriquez.
WR - AJ Brown. DK Metcalf. Chris Godwin. Deebo Samuel. Amon Ra St Brown. Courtland Sutton.
TE - Darren Waller. Pat Freiermuth. Evan Engram.

2024 - 1st. 4th.
2025 - 1st. 4th.

Exactly this for me. Sanders and Montgomery have flipped back and forth for me for who I like more.
