I wouldn’t add anything.

For example, in my league Barkley averaged 21.9, Kamara 21.2 points per game. Barkley had 352 touches, Kamara 290. In my opinion, Kamara is equal with 60 less touches.

So you would offer a close, but lesser asset for the #1 asset in non-SF? Why would the Barkley owner accept then?

OP, I’d agree with the 2nd rounder.

Who’s the lesser asset? I see them as equal and I edited my original post. Kamara numbers are with 60 less touches then Barkley, and very minimal difference.

Uhh the lesser asset is Kamara, just like 99.99% of people associated with fantasy football would tell you. Kamara is almost unanimously viewed as RB #4 and Barkley is RB #1.

I do appreciate the mental gymnastics to try and make Kamara a more valuable asset... So now touches are a bad thing? Barkley gets more touches because he is THE guy. Kamara gets less because the Saints want to utilize a bigger back in diff scenarios (Ingram and now Murray). Kamara also wore down the final four regular season games rushing-wise, posting .6ypc less than the rest of the year. Making it likely NO won’t up his touches.

But hey, you keep fighting the good fight telling people the RB that’s 1.5yrs older and posted 30 less fantasy pts is the better asset...

I would imagine that an owner with Barkley on the roster, deems him as the top asset in dynasty. I don't think a 50/50 shot at being a fantasy "contributor" (2nd) is enough to make anyone take that deal. It might be fair value but doubt it gets the job done. Even a rebuilding team would expect to cash in on Barkley with more than a 2nd making up the difference.

Perfect example well said.

I offered my opinion, based on stats from my league scoring. Each league is different. I see them as equal based on numbers. So Barkley averaged 0.7 points more per game, and it took 62 more touches to get that 0.7. So that’s worth an extra draft pick in trade? Maybe, maybe not. They are both young elite players. But I’m glad you have the inside scoop on what the Saints are gonna do offensively. I guess you have Payton on speed dial!!!!

Honestly is silly for Kamara owner to go after Barkley or vice versa with having give up your stud. Your goal should be to have both ultimately. They are so close it's silly to trade one for other

If I had Barkley anywhere, I'd want an first on top of Kamara. Doesn't have to be fair, but Kamara is never going to get the Volume Barkley does, and if his efficiency ever drops, that will be a problem. Saquon is a once every couple of decades type of back, and while Kamara is a very good back who has been highly productive his first 2 years, there is no way I view them close to equal when it comes to trade value, regardless of ADP. Despite being close in ADP, Barkley is in a different tier, on his own IMO, when it comes to the RB's in dynasty.

I am assuming the OP is talking about his team in sig. He HAS Barkley, and I would just hold Barkley there, unless I got a godfather type offer.

I think Barkleys special even for Kamera if I'm offered a 1sr as well it wouldn't incline me to move unless I'm in a rebuild. I think most Barkley owners are going to require an overpay

If I owned Barkley, I would need multiple firsts or another good player to part with him for Kamara.

Kamara is good, but he's nowhere near as good as Barkley. They're both early first round start up picks, but the gap between them is still fairly large.
