*UPDATE* I went with Foles

Postby Dizzle » Mon Jun 24, 2019 6:30 am

For Team 1
10 team Superflex. I'm set at WR. Could use some depth at RB. Foles is available on waivers so I can get a 3rd QB and drop Keenum. Lots of TE on waivers I can get later.

Rookie RBs still left - Singletary, Mattison, Armstead, Snell, Love and a few more. Ito Smith and Mike Davis also are available

Debating on Foles for my 3rd QB or a rookie RB.

Also I won last year and if I win this year I take the JACKPOT baby! And the league is done. Would like to nail this pick.

What say you guys?

***update Ended up picking Foles with my 3.10. Shore up my QBs.

I think you gotta go Singletary , Even though I think Yeldon gets the job and I don't like Singletary I seen him go #2 in one of my rookie drafts

Foles seems like the obvious choice here. A 3rd QB in SFlex covers bye weeks, injuries, and you can start him if he has a nice matchup. He might not be the long term answer in JAX but he probably gives them a solid 2 years.

EDIT: Especially if this is the last year of your league. Can’t count on the rookies to produce for you...meanwhile Foles is a starting QB....

Yeah I agree. You gotta go Foles here, especially if you are in that redraft mentality where if you win, the league resets. Like AZCardsFan said, drafting rookies is pointless
If you win. Foles covers injury and bye weeks.

This was my thought too, which is why I was leaning Foles. Thanks for the feedback guys.

Foles is easily the safest bet here in terms of maintaining value. Even in a 10 team league, this is probably where is value is, and he would easily slide in for QB3 for you especially considering Keenum may not have a starting job for long.
