Herndon/MWilliams for Carson/Penny

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Herndon/MWilliams for Carson/Penny

Postby Kkiddynamite » Sun Jun 23, 2019 2:51 pm

In a 2TE Superflex PPR I have the following deals on the table. These are two separate offers. Was offered his Carson for my Herndon. Also in talks with the Penny owner to get Penny for Mike Williams. Roster below. Thoughts on these deals? Would you still trade for Carson even if cant get Penny? Thinking both should see 200 touches and offer RB2 numbers. Also have the 1.10 and thinking it will be easier to find a WR than a RB

RBs:Ingram,Drake,Breida,Rojo/Barber,Hunt
WRs:M.Thomas,Nuk,Hilton,J.Reynolds,M.Williams,Conley, Doctson,Daesean,D.Robinson,J.Malone

TEs: Ebron,Herndon,Ian Thomas,Gesicki,Hollister

Start 3 RB/4 WR/2 TE/Flex

You need the RB help but not sure I would move Williams straight up for Penny. Herndon for Carson is a solid deal even with the format depending on how you feel about Thomas. I think Thomas is a year out, so despite the value I would probably just hold off on these deals.

Yeah the value is there for the first deal and I agree Thomas likely a year out. Ive gotta get another RB. Dont have 3 startable options really... have Breida and TB backfield basically. Thought about offering Hilton for Penny+ but the Penny owner isnt a contender so likely not interested in Hilton. Just figured at 1.10 Id likely have my pick of any WR in this years draft aside from maybe DK

I’d rather have Herndon/ MWilliams than the Seattle backfield.

It is two separate trades so opportunity is there to acquire one. Herndon for Carson has already been proposed... guess Ill hold and just suffer through my RB situation. Deep starting lineups/rosters.

Start reqs 2QB/3RB/4WR/2TE/Flex

My WRs are strong and likely can carry my weak RBs
