Hunt for Tevin/McKinnon

Postby bruinbowler » Sat Jun 22, 2019 9:39 pm

I have Chubb, so I'm exploring acquiring Hunt. The other owner has only Conner and Lamar Miller as startable RBs.

I give: Tevin Coleman and Jerick McKinnon
I get: Kareem Hunt

Reasonable offer? Should either side add anything? Thanks in advance.

If that is an option, I would pay it. I think Hunt is elsewhere come 2020 but that would be even better for you.

Hunt side for me too. It seems like the SF backfield is going to be a hard to trust, not knowing how they will divide the touches.

I may be the only one or one of the very few, but I’d rather have Tevin (I don’t care about McKinnon). Hunt looked great with the Chiefs, will he look that way on another team? Only time will tell. And that time is far down the road. Tevin is a solid back who was producing as the No. 2 on the Falcons. McKinnon is coming off an ACL injury who will be gradually worked back into the game. Breida has already had an off-season injury causing him to miss time. Tevin is the only healthy RB right now and is familiar with the coaching system. I think Tevin is the starter you want and will take the bulk of carries this season with high upside in that system.

Why give up the upside of Tevin for a backup player you’ll never start even when he’s eligible to play this season? Unless Chubb gets injured, I doubt Hunt sees the field much.

I don't think that gets accepted but if you can get it go for it not a bad opening offer though
