Enough to get DJ?

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Enough to get DJ?

Postby eraldo_coil » Sat Jun 22, 2019 9:01 pm

For team 1 in sig, the DJ owner expressed to the league that he is willing to trade him as his team is aging out and wants to start a rebuild process. This got me thinking if the following that I’m thinking of offering.

I give: Kerryon Johnson, Courtland Sutton, Philip Lindsay

I get: David Johnson

Is this enough to get DJ? Too much? Thoughts on if I should even offer the trade?
Team 1
12-team, 0.5 PPR, SuperFlex, TE Premium (+0.5 PPR) | 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 3FLEX, 1SF

QB: Hurts, Herbert, Cousins, Purdy
RB: Taylor, Barkley, Swift, Mixon, N.Harris, Hunt, Dobbins
WR: Jefferson, Adams, Metcalf, Godwin, Ridley, Lockett, Cooks
TE: Kittle, Njoku, Gesicki

Team 2
12-team, PPR | 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 2FLEX

QB: Wilson, Jones
RB: Robinson, Gibbs, Mixon, Sanders, R. White
WR: Lamb, Godwin, Lockett, Addison, D. Johnson, Meyers, Campbell, R. Moore
TE: Kincaid, Dulcich, Fant

I think it’s a solid offer. Depends how the other owner views Lindsay tho, as I feel the consensus is low on him.

Seems like a fair offer. This really eats into your RB depth though and Johnson will be 27. Not old but certainly not young for a running back.

I would rather have KJ than DJ.

I would much rather have what your offering. If you feel strongly about DJ, that would get it done, but I'm high on all three of those guys. Could be a trade you really regret in a year or two.
A - 12tm PPR: QB, SFLX, 3RB, 3WR, TE, FLX

QBs: Burrow, Lawrence, Fields, Darnold, Wilson, Rypien
RBs: Dillon, Nwangwu, junk
WRs: Chark, Reagor, Chase, Smith, Bateman, Mooney, Rodgers, Waddle, Preston, Lazard
TEs: Herndon, Freiermuth, Sternberger
2022: 1, 2, 2, 3, 3, 4

B - 12tm PPR: QB, 2RB, 3WR, TE, 2FLX (SFLX in 2022)

QBs: Mahomes, Ryan, Eason
RBs: Cook, Jones, Gordon, Robinson, Gibson, Mattison, Harris, Jackson, Hasty, Michel
WRs: Adams, Nuk, Golladay, Boyd, Preston, Shepard, Gage, Harry
TEs: Henry, Ebron, Hurst, Graham
2021: 1.11, 3.11, 4.11 2022: 1, 2, 3, 4

I’m very high on DJ and would probably take that. Definitely would if rebuilding.
