Campbell or Kirk?

Postby Straycatz2 » Fri Jun 21, 2019 8:48 am

Do you prefer Campbell or Kirk (who will probably go into the season as #1 on the team but don't know long term)

Owner of Kirk also has Isabella so may part with him.

Pretty close. Just depends on whether you'd rather invest in IND's offense or ARI's.

Wow. I can't believe these responses..

Kirk - super early breakout age, good production throughout college, already showed he can produce in the NFL even on a bad offense, rookies this year mean nothing for him, the team is lacking WR depth and Fitz is about to retire, they're definitely going to bring some guys in. He's easily the most talented WR outside of Fitz and already a starter

Campbell - super late breakout age, drafted on upside alone (combine numbers), hasn't played a single down in the NFL, not established in the offense yet, has to prove himself and beat out veterans for significant playing time. He's on a good offense so yeah there's hope, but that's all it is at this point. Hope

I can't understand how anyone would take Campbell over Kirk. He's 100% hype at this point. Kirk is somewhat proven and has plenty of upside. Oh, and he's already a starter. You're going to take an upside rookie over a guy that's already proven himself and is definitely starting?

I like Kirk pretty easily here. I understand AZ drafted 3 wr's which I was not crazy about but realistically, Fitzgerald is done after this year and they had nothing behind Kirk. The draft does not hurt Kirk at all in my opinion.

Kirk for me too. I think Campbell is more of a player that you might have to wait on for a couple of seasons. If everything breaks the right way, he could be very valuable but it will probably after the Colts part with T.Y. Hilton.

Kirk is definitely a safer asset, but I do see potential for Campbell to possess a high ceiling in a year or 2, with Andrew Luck as his QB.

Fairly even IMO, just depends on if you want the single or to swing for the fences (I don’t see Kirk as anything more than a Randall Cobb or an Adam Humphries+ type of player, based on his college & rooie film)

I'll take Campbell. Wasn't a fan of Kirk coming out of college, and definitely see a higher ceiling with Campbell. The Cardinals drafted someone at every WR position and Kirk wasn't Kingsbury's guy as someone else mentioned, so I wouldn't be surprised for him to end the season as the WR 2 or 3 on that offense at best.

I agree with this...You don't throw that much draft capital at a position if you think you have a solid player there.
