This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

That seems abnormally cheap for Barkley. If that trade is available I would accept it immediately.

There's no way that offer is taken seriously by the Barkley owner. A bunch of nickles and dimes is not going to get a player like Barkley.

Thanks for the responses. I felt I was giving up too much as this was verbally offered by the owner. After seeing the responses Im asking him to formally propose it. Fingers crossed he dosnt change his mind. Cheers!

Barkley but per your signature you'd have no picks left. How will you fill out the rest of your roster? Can you ask him to throw back his late round picks, which presumably he wouldn't need because he has extra early picks? Tell him they'd just go to waste anyway, right?
"Marathon Square" - 16 team full PPR league with 24 player roster. Keep 16 per year indefinitely, draft 8. Start 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 Team DST
QB: Deshaun Watson, Philip Rivers, Jacoby Brissett
RB: Aaron Jones, J.K. Dobbins, Jalen Richard, Trayveon Williams, Eno Benjamin
WR: Calvin Ridley, A.J. Brown, Tee Higgins, Antonio Brown, Emmanuel Sanders, Jamison Crowder, Kendrick Bourne, Quintez Cephus, Tyler Johnson, Cam Sims, Quez Watkins
TE: T.J. Hockenson, Cole Kmet, Drew Sample
K: Didn't make 2020 Playoffs. :( No need to hold a kicker during the offseason.
Team DST: Lions, Jets

Picks:
2021: 1, 2, 3, 3.14, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (League Lottery selections not made yet, will update picks once done)

Disclaimer: My one and only Championship in this league was way back in 2011. Therefore, take my replies with the appropriate grain of salt.

This is a bad idea. That is an incredibly cheap price for Barkley. If you start asking him to add picks onto Barkley, it's going to make him think and then he's going to change his mind. And then no deal.

Don't look a gift horse in the mouth. Just take Barkley and run.

If the picks are superfluous and would literally be "[skip]" during the draft, I don't see how sending them back would insult the Barkley owner to the point of backing out of the trade. But I see what you are saying. Maybe the OP should approach it with caution: "Hey, by the way, I'm out of picks. To fill out my roster I'd have to wait until after the draft and pick up free agent scraps. Any chance you'd be filling to send my your ["last", "last 2"?] picks, which would theoretically get un-used? I realize you can indeed try to trade them for something...so no worries if not". Something like that maybe. Or not, if the OP has dealt with this trade partner before.

Exactly, you don't want to give this guy any more chances to risk reconsidering. If you did this and then he changes his mind on the deal you will regret it forever. You can figure out the rest of the roster and role players later, just get the game changing franchise centerpiece now and then deal with the other stuff.
