After trading for OBJ ive decided I'm all in on trying to win a championship in the next 2 years.

Guy with CMC is kind of inbetween contending and rebuilding. He said he isnt looking to move CMC but would for the right price.

Doesnt it make sense to take a run at him?

What package can I offer?

I don’t think it will get you laughed at but I think it’s comfortably short.

Sanders won’t be considered much at the moment when weighed up against CMac, given he hasn’t played a down. Same with Hock, who will be downvalued probably because he’s a TE. Cooks is a very good piece but a 2nd always feels like a soft throw in when it’s in a deal for an elite player.

It’s possible that changing that to a 1st might move the needle.

Yea thats what i was thinking too. I burnt out my 1sts getting OBJ.

He did mention to me that hes looking to load up on 2nds but that wasnt in the context of trading CMC

This deal is definitely worth a shot. If it gets declined, Cook, Cooks and a 2nd might get it done. It's a lot to pay but trying to buy CMC now is going to be pricey.

I think McCaffrey can definitely repeat as a PPR RB1 with a RB2 floor. However, last season was a culmination of a lot of factors that made him an elite fantasy RB. Newton's shoulder issue forced him to check down and not run as much, leading to a ton of dump-off targets to McCaffrey. Olsen was hurt / not playing great, and both Moore and Samuel were more experienced. I'd expect more targets to go to the young WRs and Olsen / Thomas at TE. As I said, I like McCaffrey, but I would expect a fair drop in target volume / PPR production. I'll be looking to sell high on McCaffrey for my team in sig, possibly targeting a package deal like Marlon Mack + 1.12 + early 2020 1st.

I found out that the CMC owner received an offer of Mixon + Boyd and rejected it without countering.

So my guess is id have to beat that by a good margin.

As a CMC owner I would laugh at that deal and not counter. He scored so much higher than the guys below him last year, that he could have a massive drop off and still be a top 4 guy. Not to mention he just turned 23. I wouldn't sell him for anything less than a massive overpay. I don't think you have enough pieces to get him.

Like i might not have enough peices that i can afford to lose and still make my team better but surely you would accept something like Cook, OBJ and Kittle for him right?

I didn't think I needed to clarify that since you already mentioned that you are trying to make a run at a championship. So obviously you aren't going to move OBJ, Kittle, and Cook for him and still expect to compete.... right?

So it should go without saying that I'm talking about you not having enough pieces that you can afford to lose to get him and still be competitive.

Yea i wouldnt do a deal like that just trying to figure out what is a fair offer and if i can reasonable make it work with the rest of my pieces.

It doesnt look like i can which is cool im still feeling pretty good about my chances to me a playoff team this year amd maybe make a run next year if some of my young guys develop.
