Should I trade Todd Gurley and TreQuan Smith for Julio Jones, Carlos Hyde, and a 2020 1st.
I know we shouldn’t predict how early the pick will be but this is a home league and I know this owner is... let’s say not good at fantasy football... so I know his pick will be decently early.
I have a very good shot to win the ship this year only one other team has the talent I have. And this would leave me with 1 stud RB (David Johnson) and 4 stud WRs (OBJ, Mike Evans, Julio, and Tyreek) and I can only start 3 including flex. I’ve made inquiries about getting a RB but most are on the other stacked team making it hard to trade with anyone due to scarcity

Due to the difficulty you stated with acquiring a second running back, I think you should stick with Gurley here.

Agreed. I'm probably in the minority here as well but I would much rather have Julio at this point. He likely still has 2-4 years of elite production in him and Matt Ryan is not going anywhere. it says that you are a win now team that is thin at rb and has more than enough high end depth everywhere else.
this deal makes no sense unless you want to panic and get out from gurley regardless of whether or not it makes sense for your team and title aspirations

Value wise it's a good deal, for your situation though I wouldn't do it. You're not going to win a title with Tevin Coleman/Royce Freeman as your RB2

I think Julio’s foot is just as likely to give him trouble as Gurley’s knee is...And he’s much older...I’d take the Gurley Side here....

With needing to start two RBs and in consideration of bye weeks, I'd take the risk on keeping Gurley. If you make the trade the only other potential starter you have will be Coleman. You actually have a couple of potential break-outs at WR to mix and match depending upon the match-ups for the week without getting Julio. Final note, with only being able to start 3 of the 4 studs you would have with Julio your are going to potentially have a lot of value sitting on your bench. Your team is strong and I would be prowling around looking to upgrade running back or QB vs. WR.
