Tyreek Trade

Postby Big_J_All_Day_77 » Mon Jun 17, 2019 7:51 am

I got offered a 2020 1st for Tyreek. It was offered by our two time league champ so it's sure to be a late pick.

I feel like current value I should take it but I do believe he will get 6-8 games then come back so I'm not sure if I should sell or hold.

Thoughts?

I would hold Hill at this point. It seems like he will be back in the league for sure and he is an elite WR. No need to move him at this point.

Lets pretend that this time next year Tyreek is back on the Cheifs playing... If someone offered you 2020 1.1 you would laugh in their face....

I’m not sure that last part is true, as Tyreek will still have risk and the 1.01 will be mighty valuable...

I do think the upside of Hill is worth that risk given your confidence of the pick being 10-12 range. His upside is top WR. Chances a rookie has that at that point are lower, and there is the rookie bust risk. The value floor is safer with the pick is the primary benefit if you’re risk averse.

You gave up 2-2020 firsts for Tyreek??? Did he offer that to you? Or did he snap accept your offer? I love Hills talent but I didn’t know people were willing to pay that.

I would be willing to pay this price if they were late. I tried hard to get him and was told it would cost OBJ. I gave up with that owner.

I acquired him a month ago for the 3.10 pick and flipped home for Ertz the next day....his value is all over to board but seems to be trending upward at the moment
