Rookie pick trade POLL

Postby jostone1966 » Sun Jun 16, 2019 7:34 pm

16 team league. Orphan team I'm rebuilding. I was offered the 2019 1.1 pick in a deal.

Give 2019 1.4 and 2020 1st (should be early)
Get 2019 1.1 and 2020 2nd (should be late)

My team needs a lot of help, especially at RB.

I have 1.4, 1.6, 1.7, 1.16, 2.3, 2.9, 2.12 and 2.16

I don't like the deal for you. You already have 4 1sts, 3 of them are in the first 7 picks. You can take BPA with those. If you are a few years from competing you might as well be patient and hold that projected early 2020 1st.

Agreed. Pass on the deal, stay patient and keep building.

Agreed. Given you are in a 16 team league, there won't be as much difference between this year's 1.01 and 1.04 (Jacobs, Sanders, Mongtomery, Harry) as there will be between the 2020 1st (top 16 pick) and 2020 2nd (top 32 pick).

Most likely you'll get one of the 3 top RB's this year which you need and next year you'll be very happy you kept your 1st

I agree with the rest. Keep that 2020 1st. In a rebuild it will become way more valuable than a bump up a few spots this year.

Just in case the previous posts didn’t deter you: no way, no how. This isn’t even close for me. The difference between 1.01 and 1.04, even if you need RB help specifically, isn’t remotely close to a to the difference between pick 4 and 24 next year (a likely example per you projections)
