Who to take at #5 and #6

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Who to take at #5 and #6

Postby tdorbust » Tue May 31, 2011 5:43 pm

Its from the team below if I trade up to get the #5 I would have #6 and #17 in a 20 team league.

Just wondering if its crazy to go WR-WR (Nicks and CJ) or even AJ or White? or do you almost have to go with a RB here?

AP, C2kJ, Rodgers, Foster is the top 4 off the board...

Just thinking WRs are much more stable over the years... am I out of my mind with this thought or do I need to pick up 1 or 2 of the RBs out there (Rice, McCoy, McFadden, Charles)

Not crazy...but personally I would probably go Calvin and either Charles or McCoy

I would go Calvin & Charles. that's a nice foundation. No one could blame you for taking McCoy or Rice over Charles though.

Just wondering about Nicks here as well... I am always RB shy cause if you don't get AP you run the risk of picking a dud compared to a WR.

Definitely depends on your philosophy. Personally, I'd take the top two RBs left, but I can't argue with getting the top two WRs overall if that's to your liking. Any of Calvin Johnson, Nicks, Fitzgerald, and Roddy, you can't go wrong.

I'd either be taking Calvin/Nicks or Calvin/(insert favorite rb here) personally I think McFadden is going to have a monster season.

Well this year's non-top RB/WR will be next year's top RB/WR.

Calvin is a great start. I would be happy to get Dez/Austin/MWilliams/Bowe/MWallace in round 2.
