This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

What are your draft picks? Could you flip a pick for a proven wr when rookie fever hits after player X looked like the next Jerry Rice in shorts and T-shirt. I think you have two top wrs, then your very thin. If you can’t add a proven wr then I’d continue to build through the draft.

You have 2 solid wr's and then need help behind them. If you can buy low on a couple upside talents like Samuel, Westbrook and R. Anderson (a few options), I would do it.

You need to upgrade at WR for sure, but the problem is the rest of your team is not that good. You are weak at TE, you are weak at RB outside of your top 3, and you are weak at WR outside of your top two. You have a backup level QB starting for you. This looks like a team that might make the playoffs, but I don't see you realistically competing for a championship. I think you need more than just an upgrade at WR.

on paper you're below average for 12man but if you pick the right WR3 every week you could turn out fine

I saw screw that middling b.s., GO BOLD! This is a perfect team for a rebuild at a perfect time to do it. You should read some articles on trading strategies and seasons. By seasons 2019's are at their highest value. Last season around week six when everybody was sobering up from rookie expectations, they were dirt cheap.

To me, this is that middling team that makes the playoffs and hopes for a miracle. Never has been my style. I hate quiet desperation. What do you have to lose, 6th place every year? I am willing to put that in the pot for a shot at a great rebuild.

I would target 2020 1st's, while upgrading ok positions at TE and QB.

The first step is build a spreadsheet of the other teams rosters. See who has surpluses at positions and weaknesses, I have Mike Davis, who has Montgomery? Can I trade him Davis and Marvin Jones for an upgrade at WR or swapping a 2nd for a 1st. I don't think Nojoku is a top 5 TE, but some do. Find the Howard owner and see if he is interested in a minor downgrade if you add say Mike Davis again, if he has Montgomery.

There are lots of little moves like that and big moves like saying F it, Mixon is on the block, I want 2 2020 1st and x. Take those two 1st, add to Cooper and Obj and dominate at WR.

These are not perfect trades. I dont know your league or rosters, but finding good trades is about knowing your league inside and out. Rosters, gm tendencies, who is strong, who is not, who is delusional. Your the expert on trades in YOUR league. This is general discussion.

Lastly, my experience in dynasty is fortune favors the bold and gm's who make bold moves.....as long as they do their homework and do a double check first with the forum. That's the insurance policy against getting trade "compromised". They dont win every trade, but they bat over .500 by a good amount.

OBJ is elite, Jones is ok, Cooper is a nightmare and the rest is a disaster.
