Even if you don't like KJ, you could most likely flip him for a more established player than Penny. KJ's ADP is 32 and Penny's is 81...I'd have to think there's someone between the two that (a) you like better than Penny and (b) and owner would sell straight up or better in exchange for KJ.

This sums up anyone who is voting for Penny, it makes ZERO sense to take penny in a trade straight up even if you like Penny more (which you shouldn't)

It would be insane to take a straight swap right now. But now is the time to get something added to Penny. I do think they will be close to each other by end of the 2019 season. And as long as you get something else out if it who cares if they are still 50 spots apart.

No reason to straight swap though. "Make reasonable choices!"

I agree that KJ owners won't trade straight up. If I owned KJ I would want more. If I had both and had to part with one, I would sell KJ at his current ADP

KJ. Penny is not in the same situation as KJ is to thrive. The Lions want to focus on the run in 2019, KJ is the core factor.

I would probably do the same IF I had to trade one away because KJ is a nice hype candidate and Penny is getting undervalued, however the post was about a straight up swap between the 2 players which makes no sense under any circumstance.

Like I said...this is nuts. There has to be a player you like more than Penny who could be had for KJ straight up. They're 50 spaces apart in ADP!

I tend to agree that this will likely be a lot closer this time next year, but I’d still want at least a late 1st or similarly valued player on top of Penny for KJ right now.

At the moment, you should be getting more on top of Penny due to the difference in value. Kerryon is going several rounds ahead of Penny in startups. I too, like many others, believe Penny will be worth more then Kerryon by end of season (Carson had some work done to his knee this offseason too). BUT don’t sell for potential, future price...sell for current price and that means Penny side needs to add.

Maybe see if he would add to penny for Godwin or golladay or someone in KJs ADP range. Then make a trade for that player and get Penny+. Atleast get your value that way

Penny side needs to add. I am of the opinion that in 5 months Penny will have more value, so I would not trade Penny for KJ. KJ is not DJ and he still wears silver and blue. Penny is a stash for me, I tend to not trade stashes, unless I get stupid offer.

I voted KJ and given that im in a championship push would trade my Penny for KJ.

With that said as many others have echoed the dynasty value here isnt as far apart as most think. Penny put up very solid numbers in a pretty limited role at the end of the season.

I think they will manufacturer plays to get him the ball in spaces to make plays and while his touch count may not be what Carson's will I think his fantasy value could be much higher.

Rebuild I could easily see the case being made for penny.

The guy offering Penny has 12 friends voting for his side.
