Lamar Price Check

This is the place for team advice - should I make this trade, should I draft that player, etc.

Lamar Price Check

Postby Eagles10 » Thu Jun 13, 2019 1:26 pm

Superflex league, 12 teams. So i have mixed feeling about Lamar. As a starter he averaged 22.8pts/game. In a SF league thats hard to not appreciate. Theres a couple of teams in my league that seem very interested in him to where i can trade him. What are your feelings about him?

Not a fan, I would say to sell high if there are other owners that want him. HOWEVER, your QB's are atrocious. The only way you can afford to move him is if you are using him to upgrade to a better QB.

I dont think you can afford to move him based on your roster. Hope he takes a step forward this year.

I'm not a fan of Lamar myself. I would find someone you like who is around the same value by consensus and trade for him. Maybe try trading for a Trubisky, Allen, Darnold, Carr or Haskins type. Just to name a few that I'd target.

With your roster you should be keeping him unless you get a massive offer, which a lot of people will be hesitant to pay because of the obvious questions and risks associated with him. I would need something along the lines of 3 1st round picks, otherwise I would be better off holding if I had that team, but like I said there will probably be a good amount of resistance to that price tag so probably best just keeping him.

Do you think you can compete? If so, I'd try to upgrade Jackson + 1st for Rodgers, whose value seems to have dipped after a down year. If not, I'd try to sell Jackson for two 2020 1sts.
