I got and offer of 1.07 for 1.12 + Gesicki

I’ve been looking to get an RB with the 1.12, but I got this offer and is interesting. I won’t reach for an RB 1.07 unless gurley doesn’t get good news in training camp and Henderson is there(my draft is in late August).

Regardless I feel like it’s a cheap price to move up and maybe grab potentially elite TE or nice WR prospects that won’t be there at 1.12.

What you do you guys think?

With Kelce, this is a cheap way to move up but I'm not high on Gesicki. The 1.07 will give you a lot more options in the draft.

Absolutely, then you can either take a far better TE prospect than Gesicki to groom behind Kelce, or grab a RB or WR.

I don't love the deal, Sir. If you had some really tough keeper decisions, for which this deal would help you keep someone else with upside, I'd be more a fan. But you have to twist my arm pretty hard to convince me some of those RBs and WRs are keeper worthy. I'm struggling to get to 18. Don't mean that as a knock. I like Gesicki more than I like the gap between those picks, and he is a solid keeper.

You do realize it's for the rookie draft too don't you? This deal would be easily worth it just to upgrade from Gesicki to Hockenson, and opens a lot of other options too if someone like Sanders starts slipping.

If you can go back to the original deal, I would do that. I am a bit uncomfortable losing Jonnu Smith as he may be the starting TE next year for the Titans.

I agree. Or even if you could include Jonnu instead of Gesecki, that’d be fine too. I’m just not a fan of moving both of them, since then you’d be pretty much obligated to take Hock at 1.07, which feels like a reach to me. Honestly, in this draft, the player you get at 1.12 is gonna be pretty similar in talent and potential to the player you’d get at 1.07, which is probably why this guy is willing to move down for both of your young TEs. It’s worth giving up one of them, but not both

I’m trying to eventually get an RB, but a TE to groom behind Kelce would be good too. A WR like Harry, DK or Campbell would be nice but as if they slip. I’m weak behind gurley and Connor...I’ve been trying to sell the 1.12 all offseason for an RB and the best option I got is Ingram...I’m figuring with the 1.07 I can engage more people and get a better RB as people start seeing the rookies in training camp and people and the pick value rises. I’m interested in a guy like D Williams, Freeman A Jones or D Henry...not sure if a 1.07 will do it but the 1.12 is not interesting anyone

As far as the J Smith side of things, if I take it I’ll remove him from the deal since my TE depth will be slim.....what do you guys think?
