I posted another update on my trade negotiations yesterday where everyone said do not trade Cook and Lockett for Julio.

My trade partner just said Cook + WR for Julio.

What do you guys think about just doing Cook straight up for Julio? (Team is in my sig)

Julio would give you a big boost at making a run this year unless you think Cook is a top 10 back. The age factor is pretty big in this deal too. I still think Julio has 2-3 more good years in him, so again this comes down to how you see Cook over the next few years.

I think cook has top 10 opportunity. But getting Julio would be insane assuming AJones or Mack can step up big for me. I am trying to contend now. Plus Cook has injury history. I think I have to do it right?

Seems pretty fair straight up. If you can get it done, it makes sense for your team.

I don't get the love for Cook. I get that he's a nice player, but he had his question marks as a prospect and hasn't been able to stay healthy in the NFL. He plays the most volatile position in the NFL and in fantasy sports, and hasn't even established himself as a top tier player.

Julio is one of the best WRs in the history of the NFL. Even though he's turning 30, I think elite WRs tend to have productive careers into their mid-30's, so I think Julio is a WR #1 for the next 2-3 years and then another few years of #2 production.

Tough one, i'd hold cook though from a pure value perspective. I think Julio can lose a lot more value than Cook can in the next 4-8 months.

Cook is the most overrated ‘RB1’ in the league. How does this guy get so much love with so little time on the field? Everyone hates on Fournette but love Cook even though Fournette has played in more games the past two season. I don’t get it..
