SF: Dalvin Cook/Tyrod vs Pettis/Samuel/2021 1st

Postby Dr. Trades » Sat Jun 08, 2019 7:17 pm

For 2nd team in sig, SF/TE premium league with 0.1ppc, 0.75 ppr, I have been offered Dalvin Cook for Pettis, Curtis Samuel, and a 2021 1st. DLF Trade analyzer says Cook side is favored (590 vs 490), but for some reason I think both Pettis and Samuel will go up nicely in value this year. Pettis really showed nice at the end of the season, although they did add Deebo there. Samuel will certainly have more opportunity with Funchess gone.

The forum is all over the map with Cook, but he generally seems to be getting the benefit of the doubt in light of his injury history, based on talent and opportunity. He's a high risk/reward in this deal.
Tyrod throw-in gives me insurance on Philip Rivers in the Superflex format.

Based on the league format, I suspect Pettis is valued about a late 1st / high 2nd, samuel is probably a mid second, and then I'd be throwing in a distant future first.

Thoughts? Agree with valuation? Which side?

I would easily make this deal and I'm not even very high on Cook. This makes your team a lot better in my opinion. If Cook can stay healthy, you have 3 solid starting RB's and you don't take a big hit anywhere to get there. Good deal for you.
