D Adams or T Lawrence

I'm in a rebuild in a Superflex league. While Adams is a top 5 receiver for the next 3-5 years, is he worth trading now to get Lawrence?

At wideout I have Thomas, MWilliams, ARob and Jerry Judy, and at QB I have Winston and Tua Tagovailoa.

The Lawrence owner has a decent receiving corp (KAllen, BCooks, CRidley) but two older QBs (Rivers, Stafford).

Psshhhhhhh I don't do devy but I would have a hard time trading a top 5 wideout for a guy who just completed his freshman year of college. Im sure the Lawrence hype is at an extreme level though

I dont think this is a good trade at all. A top 5 wr for a guy in college. Easy pass.

Even if you like Lawrence a lot, he's a complete unknown right now. He could get injured, he could get drafted into a terrible situation, or a million other things. If you're selling Adams for Lawrence, that's fine, but you should get at least two 1sts in addition to him.

I am a massive fan of Lawerence as well. But trading a stud WR for a guy 2 years out is a massive risk. Let's just say for example that the Arizona Cardinals took Lawerence this year #1 overall....Would you trade adams right now for him straight up? I am betting most people would not, so why would you do it when he is 2 years removed from even being drafted

It isn't unrealistic in superflex that the guy gets drafted in the 1st round regardless of situation in superflex

I would LOVE to see some data that shows ROOKIE QBS going in round 1 of a startup superflex....Sure in a rookie draft i would expect to see rookie QBs going often and early, but guys like Watson, Baker, Goff, Wilson, etc are similarly valued to say adams in a sflex, not ANY rookie qb

I'm not saying he should but you can't see that hype train steaming up all the way to the first? Especially if this guy wins a Heisman or another natty

I don’t think it’s as crazy as some might think, but Keep Adams unless something significant is added to Lawrence.

I’ve had two super flex rookie/devy combined drafts this off-season, and I think the Lawrence values were about right:

1st round (6 points passing TDs) - Kyler Murray, Tua, Lawrence, Josh Jacobs, Miles Sanders, Jeudy, Ettiene, Justyn Ross, Deebo, Haskins, Justin Fields, Shenault

1st round (4 points passing TDS) - Murray, Jacobs, Ettiene, Lawrence, Tua, Jeudy, Sanders, Hockenson, Metcalf, Shenault, Ceedee Lamb, Noah Font

So yes, he’s a freshmen who is in the conversation for 1.02-1.04 in superflex rookie drafts this year, but I don’t think he’s in the conversation for a 1st round start up pick, yet.

Would I be surprised if he’s carrying similar value to Adams two years from now? No, but Adams is a locked and loaded fantasy stud who is still young, and Lawrence won’t even be in the league for another two years.

Winston’s value will probably rise this year with Arians, add the roster/production value of Tua next year, and your QB situation will look much better than it does right now.
